Our legacy: A flight through time

The TACOMA Racing Pigeon Club, established with an AU charter on March 14, 1934, has been a cornerstone of pigeon racing in Bonney Lake, Washington. Our clubhouse, built in the early 1940s by dedicated members and supported by pioneers like C.W. Wood, stands as a testament to our enduring passion. The original charter, with 29 member names, proudly hangs on our wall, preserving the memories of those who laid our foundations.

In the early days, our club, alongside the Greater Seattle and Everett clubs, formed the heart of pigeon racing in the region. We remember shipping birds by rail as far as eastern Idaho in wicker baskets, a practice that highlights the dedication and spirit of our past members.
